Icehouse is an Australian rock & roll band. Originally formed within 1977 as Flowers by lead singer Iva Davies (a classically trained musician) & bass player, Keith Welsh. Icehouse was organised by Iva Davies, world health organization was a independent originative click.
Since 1980 Icehouse has released heptad albums, many compilations, & music from either collaborations by having more creative person including dance corporations. A 1987 album Man of Colours was freed at a apex of their fame & international profits.
Albums
When Flowers, Icehouse built higher the heavy as a result as a survive work in Sydney, noted for their distinctive cover versions of songs by a wide range of acts including T-Rex and Brian Eno. When signing to the Festival Records label, they freed their number one album (Icehouse) within 1980, which became a hit around Australia. A single from this album, also known as "Icehouse", created a bit of interest in the U.K., partly because of a memorable video. More singles involved "Can't Help Myself" & "Walls". Their next album release was Primitive Man, recorded with assistance from either Keith Forsey, who later on worked sustaining Simple Minds. A next album, Man of Colours, was their best-selling album. It contained a hit singles "Crazy" & "Electric Blue" (the song co-written by John Oates from the band Hall and Oates). By having this album, a b& reached an international zenith, never surpassing this level of popularity and exposure once more.
Inside 2003 Iva Davies contributed to the score of the film Master and Commander: The Far Side of the World.
